Factored Properties
The Association provides a factoring service to a number of sharing owners & owner occupiers on our schemes.
The Association is registered with the Scottish Property Factors Register which is a requirement of the Property Factors (Scotland) Act 2011.
Our registeration number is PF000360.
As part of our factoring service we
- Provide a service statement to all factored owners
- Follow the code of conduct for factors set out by the Scottish Government and the Association's factoring policy and factored property procedures
- Have a complaints policy to ensure that factored owners can raise concerns about our service. If factored owners remain dis-satisfied they can complain to the Homeowners Housing Panel. Further advice and details can be found on their website www.housingandpropertychamber.scot
