How to Make a Payment

Find helpful advice on how to pay for rent and how to set up a direct debit.

Paying your rent

If you ever find that you’re having difficulty paying, please let us know immediately. It’s never a good idea to let arrears build up, because it can be a source of real stress and it’s also a breach of your tenancy agreement that could lead to the loss of your home. If you’re having difficulties or are worried about your finances, we’ll do our best to help, please take a look at our Debt Advice leaflet.

We have made it as easy as we can for you to pay your rent. You can use any of the methods listed below:

Direct Debit from your bank accountPayments can be made monthly or weekly. You can download the direct debit form here, or we can send you one. With a direct debit, we can collect the right amount of money, whether your rent has gone up or down, so that you won’t have to fill in more forms.
Standing Order from your bank accountAgain, payments can be made monthly or weekly. However, the standing order is for a fixed amount, so if your payments change you’d need to fill in a new form. You can download the Standing Order Form here. Please contact the Association for your tenancy reference number prior to completing the form.
